What I’m doing now

Last updated November 2025
  • Living in Leicestershire with my beautiful fiancée and our dog
  • Working remotely and leading projects as a front-end developer
  • Attending open mics around Leicester, Hinckley and Loughborough
  • Playing in my new function band Everything In-between
  • Playing as the live guitarist for Amy Dx
  • Enjoying coding websites, apps, and writing for this website

What I’m planning

  • Writing and recording more music. I have almost finished recording my second album “Connections”. I remastered and released my first album “Grief” under the Polar Bites project.
  • Reading more books. I have recently finished “A Million Miles in a Thousand Years” by Donald Miller. I have just started “Tiny Experiments” by Anne-Laure Le Cunff.
  • Playing video games. I’ve been enjoying playing the new “Digimon Stories: Time Strange” and an awesome metroidvania called “Nine Sols”.
  • Designing video games. I have a few ideas and I’m currently working my way around the Godot game engine.
  • Making Doom levels. I have enjoyed playing and modding Doom since I was too young to play. Doom sparked my interest in coding. It feels good to be back.

This page is inspired by The Now Movement pioneered by Derek Sivers, brought to my attention from reading the websites of Matt Brunt and Jamie Tanna.
